Learn character by seeing it applied in the lives of men and women of Scripture! This set is beautifully illustrated with wonderful old Bible pictures. For use with her four oldest children, back in 1981, Marilyn went to Scripture to find men and women who gave clear demonstrations of specific character qualities in their lives to inspire her boys to strive to learn from their examples. Back then she had coloring book pictures of the men she hung up around their bedroom, but has now created this delightfully colorful set of cards for use with children ages 4 through 14. You, Mom, will learn too as you drill your children of all ages on the verses in Scripture that demonstrate the character quality being studied. This set provides 26 (one for each letter of the alphabet) people from Scripture, giving a clear definition of the character quality being studied and a verse to learn to help apply it to their lives. Also included is a suggested Scripture reading for each one so you can read the story straight from your own Bible as you teach the character quality being studied. As with much of what the Boyer create, it is designed for multi-level use so the family can learn together. Great for family devotions or daily devotions.
